Y5C have placed themselves into different times in history as part of
their 'Back to the future' project. The children needed to find photos
from 1950 to the present day and then use ICT skills to place themselves
into it.

3D drawings using 3D glasses
Today Y5C continued to look at 3D art, but this time using 3D glasses and 3D
paper. We had lots of fun trying out different drawings.
3D art
Y5C have been looking at different modern artists as part of our 'Back to the Future' project. We were particularly inspired by British
chalk/street artist Julian Beever, who uses a 3D illusion to make his drawing look life like. We learnt how to make our own 3D drawings.
Graffiti
Y5C have recently studied Graffiti as part of our 'Back to the future' project. The children went on to create some brilliant Graffiti tags of their own.
YEAR Six DESIGN AND MAKE
In January, we will be designing
and making bridges with Simon Squire. We
will be using our knowledge of forces, particularly triangulation and, to help
us with our designs, we will be using the program from West Point Military
Academy. You may want to try it out
during the Christmas holidays. You can
download their program for free and begin designing now: http://bridgecontest.usma.edu/download.htm
Good luck!
