This Friday, Y6 are holding a fundraising day to
raise money for the charity ‘Street Child’.

Year 3D's Amazing Charity Day
This Friday (27th June) year 3D are holding a special charity fair to raise money for two brilliant charities, Ronald McDonald House and Water Aid. The fair will run from 2.45pm til approximately 4pm. Hopefully we'll have our stalls set up in the playground but if the weather isn't good we may be in the hall. There will be a great variety of stalls and activities- home crafted, creative loom bands and origami will be on sale, there will be a yummy cake stall, there will also be a healthy but delicious smoothie stall running to help keep you hydrated with something healthy, a toy and book sale, guess how many sweets in the jar, a lucky dip, guess how many bricks in Josh's castle and a penalty shoot out!! All of the activities will range in price from as little as 10p up to £4 for some of the items on the toy and book sale.
We will also be holding a raffle with lots of exciting prizes up for grabs. All prizes have been donated by local businesses or friends and family. Tickets cost 20p each or £1 for a whole strip. Prizes include a homemade lamp (including lampshade and bulb), 2 tubs of mini Mars Bars, loom bands, notebooks, felt colouring posters and pens, a box of Matchmakers, a pack of football themed birthday cards, 2 bottles of fizzy drinks, a bottle of sparkling wine and a tub of a variety of home baked treats. If you'd like to buy a ticket to be in with a chance of winning one of these fantastic prizes please speak to one of the children in year 3D. Some photos of the prizes should appear below so you can take a closer look!
