Fraction Sundaes

Year 5 have been improving their knowledge of fractions by creating fraction sundaes!
Each scoop of ice cream is part of a whole (the sundae being the whole).  It also allowed us to work on equivalent fractions and cancelling down fractions to their lowest form.

Sports Relief 2016 - human hungry hippos

For Sports Relief Year 5 undertook human hungry hippos during their PE lesson.  It was great fun!
