Haikus, Tankas and Cinquains

Some Year 6s have been experimenting with language and have written some really fab poems!
Tanka

The big bumble bee.
The bee flew through the moonlight
as the sky went on.
Then the sun started to rise
as the moon quietly went down.

Tanka
Winter is here now;
the snow flakes are falling down.
The flakes are so cold,
as cold as a snow mountain.
Winter is the best ever.

Cinquain
Just now!
It zoomed past me
The horrible thing called
Death, zoomed past at the speed of sound.
Just now!
