Year 3/4's Bristol Landmark Trip

Year 3/4 had a trip around Bristol today, looking at some of its famous landmarks. We wanted to find out the history of each Landmark, and why it was built where it was. We started at Queen Square before walking up to Bristol Cathedral.

After, we walked up Park Street and visited Brandon Hill to see Cabot Tower.

Then, we went up to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. We walked across the bridge and then went up to the Observatory to sketch the Bridge.

To finish our busy day, we called in at Clifton Cathedral. We were given a talk, and we were able to compare and contrast this modern Cathedral with that of the much older Bristol Cathedral.

We all had an interesting and enjoyable day out. A big thankyou to all the parents and helpers who joined us today.
