Today children in year 1 have been having some time to think about being a successful learner. We discussed how we can be successful and thought carefully about what the words on our display meant.
We have thought about how we enjoy our learning in school: 'I enjoy PE becasue Ican learn to kick a ball.'
We thought about knowing how to improve: 'I know how to improve at writing becasue we use our sancastles.'
We have thought about learning with other learners: 'We use out talk partners to help us talk about new things.'
And we have thought about listening to others carefully. 'we need to listen to everybody who talks to us to learn as much as we can.' Wonderful thinking Year 1!
