Get ready for the Dahlicious Dress Up Day!

On Friday 30th September, our school will be taken over by Big Friendly Giants, Oompa-Loompas, Giant Peaches and Twits. It’s all part of The Dahlicious Dress Up Day, a wonderfully fun and creative way to raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
Primary schools up and down the country are taking part in The Dahlicious Dress Up Day and we’d love your child to join in. We are asking for £1 per child to raise money for specialist nurses, care and equipment for children with rare neurological and blood conditions.
Roald Dahl cared about children, especially those who had the world against them. Today, his
Marvellous Children’s Charity carries on this legacy by supporting children living with serious
illnesses to help make their lives that little bit better.
The Dahlicious Dress Up Day will be a crackling way for children to celebrate the characters from
Roald Dahl’s stories and rhymes, while raising a huge amount for seriously ill children.

It’s very easy to get involved – simply help your child decide on the most Dahlicious costume and remember to send them in with £1 on the day. Your child can dress up as any of Roald Dahl’s fantastic characters or simply wear his favourite colour - yummy yellow. Get your thinking caps on now!
We hope you can join in our Dahlicious Dress Up Day.
(PS: There are lots of dress up ideas on the charity's website)
