Olympics Haiku
Y4J have been writing our own haiku to celebrate the Olympics. A haiku is a poem that has 17 syllables and three lines which tells a story. Here are just a few. I think they're brilliant:
Horse Jumping
As the timer starts
Horses gallop very fast
One jums but fails.
by Luke
Running
Running fast and swift,
The crowds cheer when you finish.
Here come the medals.
by Muhammad
Fencing
Swords at the ready,
Try to hit your opponent
To gather more points.
by Connor
