Y3/4J has been investigating and creating directions and mazes. We recreated our patterns using special programmable car-bots. Some of us were able to use a procedure that repeated a sequence to create a pattern. It was hard to remember left and right!

Making strange animals

The Middle Primary have been learning about animals and their habitats. This week they have been researching and creating interesting animals on a website called switchzoo.com. As homework over the half term break they have been asked to research animals and their habitats. There is plenty on information about it on the woodlands-school website. The children also need to create their own made up animal. If they, or any of you, want to create a strange animal like the 'zeb-ger-dog-nocerous' in the picture above then just have a go on switchzoo.com.
