Choir at Cabot circus

On Thursday of last week, the choir were invited to take part in a charity event to raise money for Ronald Macdonald House; a house for the families of ill children. We sang in the balcony area of Cabot Circus in full view of all the shoppers. It can now be revealed that we raised £202.08 during our half hour session of carol singing! This is an amazing amount as the total raised by 12 choirs was £1478. We were also only one of 2 primary choirs, the rest being secondary or adult choirs! So yet again Well Done and Bravo to the choir!!

That Christmas feeling

There is definitely a Christmas feeling in the air today. The infants have been over to the preschool to watch their wonderful nativity. The singing was great and the audience even joined in with some songs. A big thank you to everyone at preschool for letting us come and watch.
Later the Reception class will be playing some Christmas games on the website northpole.com, including making a disco dancing santa!

They used what they have learnt recently in science to construct a circuit to light up their houses. They also fixed a switch to control the light.
