Year 3/4 Poetry Recital




KS2 were treated to a surprise poetry recital by Mr. Tilmouth and Mrs. Bell's classes. A great start to the new school year!

Well done to both of our Literacy groups for their choral poetry recital yesterday. They had never seen the poem before and after only 1 hour remembered all of their parts and performed it to the rest of the Juniors. The poem they performed was 'The Adventures of Isabel' by Ogden Nash.

I really enjoyed the poem because it was very funny,it had good adjectives and it was very impressive.I really like the bit when she ate the bear up.(HaHaHA.)It was called 'The Adventures Of Isabel'
by Ogden Nash.Everyone tryed there best.I got a bit muddled up.

I really enjoyed the poem because we were learning and having fun at the same time. I realy liked the poem I think that Ogden Nash did a very good job on the poem 'The Adventures Of Isabel' it was proberly the best poem that I ever read it was very funny!

great poem and these are my lines the witchs face was cross and wrinkled but without me in it it would still be great.
i loved it and it was funny but partly silly.the funny part about ,it was when lakshmi said the witchs gums with teeth were sprinkled.
it realy realy was a great poem. the silly thing about it was,when it was gone she turned her in to milk and drank her.but thats all ive got time for.
