The following group poem was produced after our lesson on personification, metaphor and similes.
SUN
I am the sun,
I burn away the darkness
With my blazing spirit.
The planets are my children
Surrounding me day and night.
I am a flower without any petals.
I am a clock without hands.
I am a face, gleaming with light.
I am a balloon, high up in the sky.
I am the one who gives you light.
