Emergencies in Bristol - Competition Winners

As you may know, the Lord Mayor and Mayoress came to visit the school today in our assembly. This was due to the fact that Agnel (year 6) had won a competition (called ‘Emergencies in Bristol’).Adding to that Samantha and Daniel were one of the eight runner ups. The Lord Mayor and Mayoress came to present our prize the winner of the poster competition won a wind up radio and torch and a free trip to Bristol zoo for the class. The runner ups received a green wind up torch this made us even more proud that over 400 entries were given in. When all the classes had left, the winners and the mayor and mayoress got taken a series of ‘flashing’ photos, until our eyes were sore!

The poster competition ran for year sixes in Bristol and was organised by Bristol City Council.
